Throughout the five days of the meeting, the EUROVOLC community discusses what was done in 2019, detailed the activities carried out over the last year of the project, and concluded with a field trip on the eastern flank of Mt. Etna. Amongst the project results achieved in 2019, those related to the physical access to the European infrastructures were chiefly expected. The field trip was undertaken to visit the main volcanic and tectonic structures, among which the fault that generated the 26 December 2018 earthquake.
