A new MOOC (massive open online) course is now available for all, on volcano monitoring and magma movements, offered by EUROVOLC partner University of Iceland through its participation in edX. All can join the course and learn about these topics. More information and registration is on edx.org.

Currently there are about 1000 participants in the course from over 60 countries. The course utilises experience, data and derived products gathered during volcanic activity in recent years during the FUTUREVOLC and EUROVOLC projects.
